This may look a bit like, well, a pit in the ground to many, but this is exciting progress in our eyes! Our H Street mixed-use property is starting from the ground up. Literally. We’re digging down a level, underpinning the foundations of the adjoining properties, and preparing to lay a new foundation for The Aldea. And that’s all in the picture’s foreground. Now shift your gaze to the background. That’s Hill Prince, Maketto and H Street Country Club across the street. Just outside of the scope of the photo lie Avery’s, RedRocks, Sospeso, Sally’s Middle Name, Insomnia Cookies, Atlas Performing Arts Center, Mosaic Theatre, and CrossFit DC. It’s clear we are as excited about The Aldea’s location as we are about its progress.
